NHER 46123 (Building record) - Green Farmhouse, Watton Green

This farmhouse dates to the late 17th century and early 19th century. It is timber framed with a clay lump and brick infill. The building has a slightly asymmetrical facade to fit the interior disposition. The majority of the windows are of the sash variety and these are set under skewback arches. The gabled roof has internal end chimneystacks. A random brick and flint outshut was added to the rear in the mid 19th century. Inside, the complete timber frame is visible. The west room retains an open fireplace and all ceiling beams and the east room has a boxed spine beam.
