Map

This farmhouse dates to the early 18th century. It is built from red brick with some patterning in dark headers. The building has steeply pitched roofs of black-glazed and smut pantiles and stands two storeys high. The main facade is of three bays, the centre bay slightly advanced and containing a six panelled entrance door with the two upper panels glazed. A lead covered canopy exists over the doorway; the first floor sash windows have glazing bars and architrave. The flanking bays have sash windows with side-lights; but one ground floor window has been replaced by a 20th century casement. There are rubbed brick arches over the openings and a brick plat band at first floor level. The roof features eaves parapet with wooden moulded cornice; stone band at parapet base. The parapeted gables have internal chimneystacks. To the north lies a lower two-storey range; featuring two-light casements with glazing bars; plat band at first floor level and a parapeted north gable with internal chimney stack. There are catslide extensions to the rear of the main block, probably contemporary, with two cross-casements with leaded glazing. These extensions have later two and three-light casements with transoms and a later brick chimney.
