Full Description
July 1951. Listed, Grade II.
This farmhouse dates to the early 19th century. It is made from gault brick with a hipped roof of black glazed pantiles. It stands two storeys high and is L-shaped in plan. It takes the form of a symmetrical facade of three bays: each with wide sashes with glazing bars and red brick gauged arches over openings. Brick pilasters divide bays. The central doorway has an elliptical arched head, inset is a six-panelled door with an elliptical fanlight. There are twin chimneystacks symmetrically placed to the north of the ridge line. A red brick lean-to is on the east side with two segmental-headed two-light casements. To the north is a gabled two-storey wing in gault brick, casements with segmental heads, and parapet gables with an internal chimney stack to the south.
