Summary

This farmhouse date to the 18th century and later. It is built of brick with pantiled roofing and stands two storeys high. Most of the windows are of the sash type but there is a tripartite window to the right of the central front door. Other features of interest include the sawtooth cornice and tumbling-in at roof level.

Listing Description:
Farmhouse date to the 18th century and later. It is built of brick with pantiled roofs and has a T-shaped plan with L-shaped end addition. It stands two storeys high. The south facade is of three bays of 19th century sash windows with single vertical glazing bars beneath skewback arches. There is a tripartite ground floor window to right of the central front door and later canted bay to left. The front of the building has an arched doorcase with broken dentilated pediment, pilasters and paterae. The roof has a sawtooth cornice, gable-end chimney stacks and tumbling-in. The service wing has an early 19th century raised canted bay with a miniature modillion cornice and three sash windows with glazing bars. Weather boarded below with plain dentilated cornice.
