Summary

A two storey brick Baptist chapel of 1857, with a pantile roof. Inside, the gallery is now blocked by a mid 20th century ceiling. This chapel was converted into a house in 1993.

Listing Description:
Baptist chapel. 1857 (founded 1831). Brick with pantiled roof. Two storeys with clasping pilasters under dentilled architraves. Central door with one 20th century window right and left and two 19th century sashes to first floor with glazing bars, all under rendered skewback arches. Central plaque. Hipped roof. Returns similar. Interior gallery now blocked by mid 20th century ceiling.

Baptist Chapel dated 1831 and later altered and embellished in 1857 and the 1880s. The porch was removed in 1959 and replaced by windows and a central entrance was constructed. Behind the chapel is the 'Jubilee Memorial Sunday School' dated 1887. The interior has a single gallery, however, other fittings date from the late 19th Century. This chapel was converted into a house in 1993.
