Summary

This building was originally built as a pair of cottages during the mid-18th century, but has since been converted to a single property. It is partly timber-framed, with some sections of flint and rendered brick, and has thatched roofs. There is a late 18th century brick outshut to the east of the front, and a thatched gabled outbuilding abuts the east wall.

Listing Description Excerpt:
"The Thatched House, Thompson.
Pair of cottages, now one. Built in mid-18th century. Partly timber framed, flint and rendered brick with thatched roofs. One storey and dormer attic. Renewed casements to ground floor in original openings, the eastern cottage with painted segmental brick arches. Buttress left of centre."
