Summary

This house dates to the early 19th century. It is constructed of flint and brick with a rendered and whitewashed facade. It has two storeys and is set out in three bays. There is a dentil eaves cornice under gabled roof.

House. Early 19th century. Random flint and brick. Rendered and whitewashed façade. Pantile roof, black-glazed to front. Two storeys in three bays. Late 19th century glazed central door within plain doorcase rising to a moulded pediment. One bowed sash window right and left with 6/6 glazing bars. Three two-light 20th century casements to first floor. Dentil eaves cornice under gabled roof. Internal gable-end chimney stacks to right and left. Rear has full width, two-storey, outshut under catslide roof. One 6/6 sash but mainly 20th century details. Interior: boxed bridging beams. 20th century fireplaces. Stick baluster staircase with a ramped and wreathed handrail is ingeniously fitted into a small stairwell with bowed ends.
