Listing Description excerpt:
"Warehouse. Early 19th century. Whole flints with gault brick dressings and some coursed clunch. Concrete tile roof. Two storeys on basement in 10 bays. Second bay (from left) with a two-storey timber loading door opposing similar door to rear. Basement storey with nine blind windows with segmental heads. First floor with nine fixed windows with glazing bars, also with segmental heads. Ten similar second-floor windows. Dentil eaves cornice and hipped roof. Rear similar. Interior not inspected."

June 2014. Building Survey.
Level 2 survey of former warehouse ahead of its renovation as part of the construction of the new Thetford Bus Interchange.
At the time of the survey the building was in an entirely derelict condition, with its roof removed and virtually all internal fixtures and fittings removed.
Although the exterior had suggested the presence of three floors, internally there was only evidence for two – with the ground floor seemingly always having been of double height. It was also noted that the present building incorporates elements of other, now lost buildings that can be seen on historic maps of the site. The north part of the west elevation incorporates the brick and clunch gable from an earlier range that originally extended west, while the south gable is the brick and clunch-rubble north gable of another formerly adjoining structure. Both of these now demolished buildings can be seen on the 1883 Ordnance Survey 1:500 Town Plan map (S2), with the one extending to the south marked as a malthouse.
