Summary

No 31 was built as a house around 1770, and converted to a shop in the 20th century. This two-storey building is of red brick with a roof of mixed red and black-glazed pantiles. Inside there is an 18th-century brick cellar.

Listing Description excerpt:
"House, now shop. Built around 1770, converted to shop 20th century. Red brick; roof of mixed red and black-glazed pantiles. Exterior: two storeys; three-window range. One early 20th-century plate-glass display window either side of doorway, which is within stuccoed surround with minor incised decoration...Rear wing of two storeys...Interior: 18th-century brick cellar. 20th-century staircase to rear."
