Summary

No 4 was built as a house around 1780, and converted to a shop around 1820. This two-storey building is of painted brick with a pantiled roof, and has an early 19th-century bowed shop display window to the right.

"House, now shop. Built around 1780, converted to shop around 1820. Painted brick. Pantiled roof. Exterior: two-storey, single-window range. Late 20th century half-glazed door to left. Early 19th-century bowed shop display window to right with eight by three panes and a moulded and dentilled cornice."
