Summary

The Church Rooms was originally built as a National School by William Donthorn in 1838. In the 20th century it was converted into a church hall. The building is of cut flint with brick dressings, and has gabled slate roofs. In the southern section there is a tall arched four-light Perpendicular style window through both storeys, and in the gable is an inscription that reads: 'Swaffham National School 1838'.
