Summary

Rose Cottage was constructed in 1845 to serve as the Thetford stationmaster's house but is now a private residence. The two storey house is made of cut flint with gault brick dressings and has a gabled slate roof. The entrance is set in the west gable.

Rose Cottage, Station Lane. Listed 1993, grade II.
Stationmaster's house, now private residence. 1845. Cut flint with gault brick dressings under slate roof. Two storeys. Entrance in west gable. Door set to left with a lattice casement right and two to first floor. South return with two window bays each floor. Upper left is blind, lower right has late 20th century casement. Other two windows are 19th century lattice casements. Gabled roof with gault brick ridge stack. Interior not inspected.
