Summary

This late 18th century terrace is built of cut flint with red brick dressings and pantiled roofs. The houses are laid out in three bays. Nos 50 and 52 are entered through two 20th century plank doors. To left is an early 19th century shop front (52A) consisting of a central door flanked by one six-paned bowed display window either side.

Terrace of houses. Late 18th century. Cut flint with red brick dressings under a pantiled roof. Ground floor whitewashed. Two storeys in three bays. Nos 50 and 52 entered through two 20th century plank doors with a two-light 19th century casement to their right. To left is an early 19th century shop front (52A) consisting of a central door flanked by one six-paned bowed display window either side. First floor lit through three two-light casements under segmental heads. Dentil eaves cornice and a gabled roof. Internal gable-end chimney stacks east and west. Rear of No.50 with an outshut under a catslide roof, partly rebuilt 20th century. Red brick stack emerges through outshut roof. Interior not inspected.
