8 and 10 Old Market Street. Listed as early 18th century with 19th century refronting in white brick with parapet. Two storeys, two bays and dromers. Pilastered and pedimented doorway to No. 10 and early Victorian bow fronted shop. Rear is flint built. However Mr. Tolhurst, Breckland DC, reports a cellar which he suspects is far older, with a fragmetn of reused 17th century panelling (but not a staircase as wrongly reported in press).
