Summary

This barn was constructed in the 17th century of red brick, with a steeply pitched roof of French corrugated pantiles. Originally a threshing barn, it now houses a grain drier, and has 20th century double doors in the south wall which mask the original waggon entrance. The roog has tie beams with arch-braces on wall posts and corbels.

Listing Description Excerpt:
"Threshing barn, now housing grain drier. Late 17th century. Red brick with steeply pitched roof of French corrugated pantiles. 20th century double doors in south wall, masking original waggon entrance. Parapeted gables with continuous tumbling-in and honeycomb brick vents."
