Summary

Two early 17th-century houses, refaced in the early 19th-century and incorporating various later alterations. The entrance passage to one contains 18th-century wooden panelling.

Listing Description excerpt:
"Two houses. Early 17th century, altered 18th century with early 19th-century façade. Buff brick. Slate roof. Two storeys...Various blocked window openings. Gabled roof. 17th century-internal gable-end stack to south, shared with No. 51: square plinth and five diamond-section flues. Concrete tiles to rear.
INTERIOR. Both houses have one bridging beam running east-west in ground floor west rooms. No. 49 with large-framed 18th-century panelling to entrance passage. All other details 20th century."
