Summary

An early 18th century shop with flats above. The building contains evidence of a fragmentary timber frame, and was refronted in brick in the early 19th century.

Shop and flats, now two shops. Early 18th century, refronted early 19th century. Fragmentary evidence of timber-frame, otherwise brown brick. Plain tiled roof. Two storeys and dormer attic. Two 20th century shopfronts to ground floor. Two sashes to first floor, that to left (No. 118) now replaced with a 20th century fixed window. Gauged skewback arches to both. Saw-toothed parapet cornice below gabled roof. Two sloping dormers, their windows not visible from street. Ridge stacks to left and right, the latter 19th century.
INTERIOR. Some evidence of timber-frame. Doors with H-L hinges. No access to attic.
