Summary

Thurnby House is a mid 19th century house of colourwashed brick, with a fish-scale and plain-tiled roof. This one and half storey building is in the Gothic style, and has a central gable porch with an arched entrance, and a central chimneystack.

Thurnby House, Docking Road.
"House. Mid 19th century. Colourwashed brick, fish-scale and plain-tiled roof. 1½ storeys, three bays. Gothic. Ground floor has two three-light casement windows under drip mould heads. Two first floor half dormer two-light casements. Central gable porch has arched entrance, angle quoins, deep eaves and barge board gable. Quoined angles."
