Summary

No 8 is a house of coursed and squared carstone ashlar block, carstone rubble, and brick dressings, with slate roofs. This two storey building was built around 1840, and has a symmetrical three bay façade.

Listing Description excerpt:
"House. Built around 1840. Coursed, squared carstone ashlar on south front, brick dressings, carstone rubble returns, slate roofs. Two storeys, symmetrical three bay facade with single off-axis bay to north...Off-axis bay to north has ground floor segmental brick arched cart-entrance with boarded door...Deep bracketted eaves, low-pitched hipped roof, two asymmetrically placed ridge stacks. Included for group value."
