Summary

White Lion Public House is a building of late 17th century date, but the front elevation and roof are late 18th century. This two storey building is of brown brick with a mansard pantile roof and end chimneystacks. There is a central doorway with a doorcase of broken pediments on narrow pilasters, and a moulded brick band at eaves height at the gable end.

White Lion Public House, Town Street. Upwell.
"Possibly a late 17th century house, but the front elevation and roof are late 18th century. Brown brick with mansard roof, pantiled. End stacks. Two storeys, each with two mid 19th century flush frame hung sashes probably in original openings."
