Summary

These stables and cottage were built around 1880 by J. J. Stevenson, of coursed and squared carstone with a red pantile roof. The court itself is foursided, with a screen wall to the southeast, the stable rang to the northeast, and further screen walls to the northwest and southwest. All of the buildings are in the Queen Anne or Domestic Rivival style, and the cottage originally housed unmarried male servants separately from the house (NHER 13188).
