A pair of two-storey houses of yellow brick with red brick dressings, extended at the rear in the early 19th century. The front elevation has openings with red brick dressings, many of which have been blocked in red brick. In the early 19th century two windows with rubbed brick arches were inserted on the ground floor, and similar ones on the first floor, while at the same time the original entrances were moved from the centre to the ends of the elevation.
Internally No. 14 (to west) has been entirely modernised but retains on the first floor an early fire surround dating from around 1800 survives. No. 13 (to east) retains the partition between room and stairs, in square panelling, and on the first floor this has been replaced by a plank and muntin wall. The first floor retains a panelled dado and dado rail of the 18th century.
