Summary

A public house that dates back to the 17th century with substantial 18th and 19th century alterations. Inside there is early 18th century wooden panelling and an unusual curved doorway dating from about 1820.

Listing Description excerpt:
"Public house. 18th century. Colourwashed stucco, red pantiled roof. Two storeys with attics, irregular seven-window façade. Probably 17th century in origin, interior details largely 18th century and 19th century, exterior largely 19th century. Ground floor has two inserted c.1900 three-window canted bows."
