Summary

This house is dated 1736 but has an earlier core. It is constructed of whitewashed brick and flint with an irregular bay system. The door lies behind a portico porch and there are numerous sash windows, some of which have been blocked. The west gable has a date stone reading 1736. Ramped walls enclose a forecourt closed to the street by gates and railings which are likely contemporary with the house. .

Listing Description Excerpt:
"House is dated 1736 but has an earlier core. It is constructed of whitewashed brick and flint and pantiled roof. This two storey building has an irregular bay system. The panelled door is right of the centre behind a portico porch on four fluted timber columns supporting plain entablature."
