Summary

Odd Nos 37 to 43 are a terrace of four houses, some with original shop fronts. They are dated to 1838, and were constructed of squared and coursed carstone blocks with slate roofs. Nos 37 and 39 have shop fronts with panelled architrave surrouds, No 41 has an inserted 20th century shop window, and No 43 a three-bay late 19th century shop front. The whole terrace has whitewashed and rendered moulded eaves cornices, with three party wall chimney stacks.
