February 1979. Listed, Grade II.
Mid-later 19th century built as blacksmith's forge. Flint with red brick dressings. Pantile roof with coped gable ends. Brick dentil eaves. One storey. Large segmental-headed entrance to left. And 2 segmental-headed original iron-frame windows with glazing bars.

Chalk and flint mine discovered during modifications to blacksmith's forge in February 1982. Parts of the tunnels are lined with 19th century brickwork in the form of supporting walls and archways. It is speculated that the mine is an unfinished project.
