Summary

A 16th century flint and brick cottage with later alterations. The interior of Beacon Cottage has a fireplace with a timber bressumer with many carved merchants' marks.

Listing Description Excerpt:
"Probably 16th century. Flint and brick with brick quoins. Steep pantile roof, gable-ended with hipped corner. Brick dentil eaves; 2 storeys. Two windows (plus one small modern window on ground and 1st floors of No 96). Sashes with glazing bars. Two flush panel doors with glazed top halfs."
