Full Description
Chapel. Late 18th century. Brick, black glazed pantiled roof. 2 storeys. 2 window ground and 3 window first-floor façade, 3-window ground-and first-floor rear, all 19th century cross casement windows. Ground floor windows with flat rubbed brick arches, first-floor under eaves level wooden lintels. Central 19th century boarded door but late 18th century wooden architrave with fluted Doric pilasters, triglyphs with paterae and baseless pediment with central raised triangle moulding. Panelled reveals. Brick dentil eaves. Cornice and hipped roof. Blank returns. Interior a single 2 storey chamber with original gallery with benches supported on cast iron columns. Wall tablet 1812.
