Summary

Bensley House is a 19th century house in flint with gault brick dressings and a pantile roof. The building has an irregular plan, with a two storey central gabled bay, and the rear is hipped. This house has wavy barge boarding and an axial chimneystack with four polygonal shafts. To the left and set back is a a single bay, two storey wing, with over-sailing eaves. Set back to the right of the central bay is a single storey range with a hipped roof, and there is a later 19th century extension to the rear.

House. 19th century. Flint with gault brick dressings. Pantile roof. Irregular plan. Two storey central gabled bay, hipped to rear. Plank door with muntins and leaded two-light casement all under a double hood mould. Single two light casement to first floor with-hood mould over. Wavy barge board. Axial stack with four polygonal shafts. To the left, set back, a single bay, two storey wing with a two-light leaded casement to each floor, both under hood moulds; over-sailing eaves. Set back to the right of the central bay a single storey range with a two-light casement; hipped roof. Later 19th century extension to rear.
