Summary

This house dates to around 1800. It has a whitewashed brick south façade and flint with brick dressed returns and reredo. The two storey U-plan farmhouse is in the Samuel Wyatt Holkham estate style, but is now divided into cottages. The ground floor outer bays have tripartite sash window recessed under semi-circular brick arches. The central porch has thin wooden columns with capitals and entablature all of Greek Doric derivation. The shallow hipped roof has two chimneystacks on the ridges and a modillion cornice runs round whole building.
