Summary

These cottages date to the first half of the 19th century. They are built from random flints with red brick dressings and pantiled roofs. They are a one-and-a-half storey pair with three bays each and outshuts to the rear. They have simple boarded doors and the chimneystacks are situated in the north gable. Together they are good examples of early 19th century Holkham Estate cottages.

Cottages. First half 19th century. Random flint, red brick dressings. Roof black pantiles. One-and-a-half storey pair, three bays each, outshut rear. Brick quoins, dressings and eaves. Ground floor tripartite iron casements, glazing bars; quoins, cambered rubbed brick arches. Simple boarded doors. Two dormers to each, wooden surrounds and gables, two light iron casements, glazing bars. Chimneystacks to north gable, party wall and off ridge of the outshut. Good examples of early 19th century Holkham Estate cottages.
