Summary

An 18th-century two-storey painted brick house with a parapeted pantiled roof and later alterations. It has a late 18th-century bowed shop front with slender fluted columns. 18th-century wood panelling and hewn beams can be found inside.

Listing Description excerpt:
"18th century, two storey, two sash windows with glazing bars and gauged flat arches, at first floor. Brick, painted. Parapet with cope. Pantile roof. Late 18th-century bow shop front with slender fluted columns. Former ship builders'.
Interior: 18th-century panelling, hewn beams, keep plate and launching arch, three-centred arch with slender Doric columns.
Nos 46 [NHER 47403] and 48 [NHER 47448] and Nos 52 to 56 (even) [NHER 47838] form a group."
