Summary

An early 17th-century two storey stuccoed flint and brick house and former shop with a pantile roof. Inside are wide fireplaces and massive wood beams.

Listing Description excerpt:
"Early 17th century, part flint and brick, metal tie ends marked TA on rear gable. Stucco lined and painted. Pantile roof. Two storey. Four sash windows now with centre glazing bars only. Wide shop front with central entrance and wood case. Interior: wide fireplaces, massive hewn beams.
Nos 46 [NHER 47403] and 48 [NHER 47448] and Nos 52 to 56 (even) [NHER 47838] form a group."

February 2008.
Plans are in place to convert the barn into two separate dwellings. The kitchen of No. 48 will be demolished, and the length of the barn will be reduced.
