Summary

The White House was built around 1635 and is of brick once colourwashed under a roof of pantiles. This two storey building is arranged in a single range of three bays. Inside there is a large fireplace in the central cell, and a straight staircase along the rear wall behind the chimney stack with abobbin and vase turned balusters continuing along the landing and to the attic.

"The White House, Stody Road.
House, built around 1635, of two builds. Brick once colourwashed under black glazed pantiles to front, (south), pantiles to rear (north). Single range of three bays. Right hand bay of slightly later addition. Two storeys and attic."
