Summary

No 59 is an early 19th century cottage with flint walls with red brick dressings and a roof of red pantiles. Originally pair of cottages, this two bays two storey structure has 19th century cast iron casement windows.

"Cottage, early 19th century. Walls flint, red brick dressings. Roof red pantiles. Originally pair of cottages, two bays, two storeys, two bay return rear entrances. 19th century cast iron casement windows, two light glazing bars; first floor casement in right bay is wooden."

October 2020. Minor Amendment to Listing.
The mapped location of this record has been corrected.
When Listed in May 1983, this record was located at TF 94765 41720. This incorrectly placed it at 57 The Street. It has been moved approximately 34m to the east of this point and is now located at TF 94794 41714, 59 The Street.
