Summary

This farmhouse dates to the first half of the 19th century. It has brick walls and a pantile roof. The building has two storeys and three bays along with a single storey outshut to the rear. The doorcase is early 19th century but the door is not original. The Earl of Leicester (Holkham Estate) monogram with date 1922 is an insertion. Each parapetted gables end has a chimneystack.

Listing Description Excerpt:
"Farmhouse. Dating to first half of 19th century. Walls red brick. Roof black glazed pantiles. Two storeys, three bays. Rear outshut one storey. Sash window under rubbed brick cambered arches, glazing bars. Early 19th century doorcase, altered door, part glazed."

July 2022. Minor Amendment to Listing.
The mapped location of this record has been corrected.
When Listed in May 1983, this record was located at TF 93726 40087. This incorrectly placed it at a Potter’s Farm building to the north-north-east. It has been moved approximately 17m to the south-south-west of this point and is now located at TF 93722 40070, Potter’s Farmhouse, Crabbe Road, Wighton.
