Listing Description excerpt:
"18th century. Built as Congregational Chapel. Red brick, all painted but for rusticated brick quoins, rubbed brick window arches and moulded brick eaves cornice. Steep hipped black-glazed pantile roof; two storeys. Three windows with flat rubbed brick arches with keyblocks, centre first floor round-headed with keyblock and impost."

(S2) states that the chapel was built in 1819. It may have been enlarged to the rear; in the rear wall is a large lunette, replacing a pair of pulpit windows.
