Summary

This terrace of cottages dates to the 17th century. These two storey buildings have walls of flint with red brick dressings, and roofs of red pantiles. There are three cast-iron 19th century windows. The quoins at the rear suggest an original 17th century structure re-used as Holkham Estate cottages in 19th century.

Terrace of cottages. 17th century. Walls flint, red brick dressings. Roof red pantiles. Two storeys, two bays, three light iron casement windows, glazing bars, cambered brick arches and brick surrounds. Boarded doors, brick arches and surrounds. Quoined end bays, eaves, steeply pitched roof. Two symmetrical off-centre stacks. Quoins at rear suggest 17th century date of original structure re-used as Holkham Estate cottages in 19th century.
