Summary

The row of cottages here date to around 1800. They have brick facades, with some flint dressings to gables and rear, black smut pantiled roofs. They stand two storeys high and form an L-shape plan. The properties are all fairly similar although there are variations in the type and layout of windows and chimneys, with No. 10 having just a ridge stack while the others have both ridge and end stacks.

The row of cottages here date to around 1800. They have brick facades, with some flint dressings to gables and rear, black smut pantiled roofs. They stand two storeys high and form an L-shap plan. At the south No. 7 has a flint south gable and plinth. This property has three ground and three first-floor wooden framed casement windows with single glazing bars, ground-floor windows under flat brick arches. No. 8 has one ground and two first-floor two-light wooden framed casements and six-panel door under flat brick arch. No. 9 with four-panel door with switch tracery fanlight. At right angles No.10 has three ground-floor casements, two with two-lights, one with three-lights, three first-floor casements with two-lights. Brick dentil eaves cornice. No.10 with hipped roof and ridge stack. No. 7-9 with hipped roof, one ridge and one end stack.
