Summary

An early 19th-century two storey painted stucco house with a pantile roof and a rather ornate Doric doorway. Number 5 has an early 19th-century projecting shop front and a central columned entrance.

Listing Description excerpt:
"Early 19th century, two storey, stucco, lined and painted. Pantile roof. Wood eaves cornice. Four near-flush-frame sash windows with glazing bars. Greek mutular Doric doorcase...Left, early 19th-century projecting wood shop front with rounded ends...Interior: six-panel doors, mainly original mantels with roundels.
Nos 5 and 7, ancillary buildings [to rear of No 7, now demolished - see NHER 64363], Nos 19 and 23 [NHERs 47771 and 47407] and Angus House [NHER 47667] form a group."

Ancillary buildings that once stood to the rear of No 7 were also listed Grade II in June 1972. These now demolished structures are recorded separately as NHER 64636.
