Summary

The Laurels is a two storey 17th century timber-framed house, plastered and partly brick faced, with a steep black glazed pantile roof with gabled ends. The building has a central brick chimney stack with lozenge-shaped shafts, and a late 19th century two-storeyed gabled porch at the centre with ornate pierced bargeboards. There is a late 19th century two-storeyed splayed bay window on the west end, and a probable early 19th century brick lean-to on the north.
