Summary

These two properties are parts of one unified house. It dates to the mid 19th century with later alterations and is built from yellow brick with slate roofing. The building was originally L-shaped in plan but has a projecting hipped gable-fronted wing to the left. The original wing is set back to the right is partly concealed by a later 19th-century single-storey extension with recessed brick panels. The house features an egg and dart cornice below the coping of the parapet.

Listing Description excerpt:
"House. Mid 19th century with later alterations. Yellow brick; slate roof; scattered brick chimneys. Originally L-plan. Two storeys; four window range. Projecting hipped gable-fronted wing to left has canted ground-floor bay with round-headed window and another two-storey canted bay to right. Eaves brackets. The original wing set back to right is partly concealed by a later 19th-century single-storey ?flat-roofed extension with recessed brick panels. Panelled (double-leaf style) door to left has plain overlight flanked by part-fluted brick pilasters with egg and dart decoration on entablature and with a dentilled cornice. Tripartite window to right and large-paned sashes throughout. Egg and dart cornice below coping of parapet."
