Summary

This pair of houses are part of a terrace. They date to the mid 19th century and are made from yellow brick with rendered details. They have two storeys and a basement and the windows have moulded architraves and large-paned sashes.

Pair of houses in terrace. Mid 19th century. Yellow brick with rendered details; hipped slate roof to No. 24; No. 26 has concrete tiles. Central brick ridge chimney; two end stacks. Two storeys and basement, six first-floor windows each unit symmetrical with rusticated pilasters. Steps up to panelled (part-glazed, double-leaf style) doors and fanlight with radial glazing bars in round-headed rendered recesses. Windows have moulded architraves and large-paned sashes with horns on ground floor. Plain brick cornice. Crenellated surround to garden gate to left.
