Summary

This shops were built in 1820 according to a datestone. They are made from red brick and have pantile roofs. The 20th century shopfront to No. 18 has a fascia and recessed left-hand and right-hand off-centre doors. No. 20 has a 20th century shopfront with a recessed door and 19th century fascia with fine lettering between consoles. There are sash windows throughout with glazing bars and rubbed brick flat arches.

"Shops. 'J.M. 1820' on datestone. Red brick and pantile roof. Three storeys. Four bays. 20th-century shopfront to No. 18 with fascia and recessed left-hand and right-hand off-centre doors. No. 20 has a 20th-century shopfront with recessed door and 19th-century fascia with fine lettering between consoles...Yard entry at extreme right...Extensive contemporary barrel-vaulted cellars."
