Summary

This mid 19th century shop has a painted brick exterior and a slate roof. It stands three storeys high and is laid out in three bays. The later shopfront has good, simply carved woodwork. The roof has a triple-bracket cornice.

Listing Description Excerpt:
"Shop. Mid 19th century. Painted brick and slate roof. Three storeys, three bays. Later shopfront with good, simply carved woodwork. Symmetrically placed sash windows with glazing bars and flat rubbed brick arches. Triple-bracket cornice. Included for group value with Nos. 39 and 41 Exchange Street."
