Summary

The Market Tavern is a 19th century Public House, of red brick with a hipped slate roof. This three storey building is divided into five bays, and has a 19th century pub front divided by six panelled pilasters.

Listing Description Excerpt:
"Public House, 19th century. Red brick with hipped slate roof. Three storey five-bay 19th century pub front divided by six panelled pilasters with centre roundels and Doric capitals supporting fascia. Five four-light sashes and one central six-light sash with flanking lights. Paired bracket cornice."
