Peppers, No 7 Carrow Hill.
May 1971. Listed, Grade II.
Listing Description excerpt:
"House (originally two?) Reputedly around 1790 with extensions and alterations around 1820. Rendered slate roof, two and three storeys, three window range. Entered through a six-panelled door with fanlight in a passage to the left of a three-storey skew-fronted block added to the facade of an earlier building. French windows to left are flanked by panelled pilasters with a dentilled cornice and small hood. Recessed round-headed panels on ground floor to right have plaques of female figures. First-floor windows have sashes with glazing bars. French windows to wrought-iron balconies on first and second floors of tower block. Rendered string courses; plain parapet with five urns. Roof light over stair well. Three span hipped roof to rear.
Interior: ground-floor room to left has fluted columns, lugged fireplace and moulded cornice."
