NHER 47988 (Building record) - 31 to 33 and attached boundary wall, Church Lane

This house lay empty at the time of the survey. It dates to the 17th century with late 18th century or 19th century additions and alterations. It is made from red brick with a rendered west façade rendered and pantile roofs. It is split into three cells, with originally two heated rooms to each side of the stairs and a room behind the stairs. The central stairs are in their original position but the stackside stairs are cut off beyond the first floor. A boundary wall is attached to the property and is built from brick and flint with brick quoins. The building retains its 17th century plan, and is of a type not readily found in Norfolk.
