Summary

York House is a pair of early 19th-century houses of red brick with a pantile roof. This two-storey building has one brick ridge chimney and two gable-end stacks.

Listing Description excerpt:
"Pair of houses. Early 19th century. Red brick; pantile roof; one brick ridge chimney and two gable-end stacks. Two storeys; six first-floor windows, each unit symmetrical. Panelled doors (No 17, part glazed) have fanlights with elaborate glazing bars in recessed round-headed gauged brick arches. Sixteen-pane sash windows have flat gauged brick arches. Box cornice; rendered parapet to gables."
