Summary

Stuart Court are a set of almshouses built in 1914 or red brick with a pantile roof. They are set back from the street line, and have projecting wings which turn outwards. There are stepped Dutch gables on the projecting central bay and above the bay windows, and there is a memorial tablet to James Stuart in the centre bay.

Listing Description Excerpt:
"Stuart Court, Recorded Road. Norwich.
Almshouses. 1914 in tie-irons. Bed brick and pantile roof. Set back from street-line.with projecting wings which turn outwards along street-line. Two storeys. Seven bays arranged A.B.C.D.C.B.A, five bay wings and three bay returns along street."
